Liquid Force Says:

Based off the legacy of Liquid Forces most popular kiteboard of all time (the Influence), the Legacy delivers a cutting- edge overhaul. Providing a similar feel, the Legacy has a thinner and lighter design for unrivaled performance. The Legacys advancements include a progressive rail concave for added edge hold and enhanced durability, a full double concave for more efficient riding, and a state-of-the-art flex profile for deeper presses, softer landings, and more powerful takeoffs. The result: an organic, flowing, hand-shaped feel.

Our Testers Say:

Great all around board that does everything well, the 143 is a great light wind twin tip, Michael Doucet.

Fun all around twin tip that handled the chop very well with a really nice and smooth ride, Marko Bartscherer.

Smooth in the chop with excellent upwind ability with a solid locked-in edge feel, John Steimle.

Meet the 2015 TKB Test Team.

TKB Says:

The Legacy is a new board in the LF lineup for this year with board designer Jimmy Redmond working in conjunction with freestyle legend Jason Slezak. The Legacy features a double concave bottom with progressive concave rails that gives the board solid grip when on its edge. The Legacy comes with two inserts with an inch of fine-tuning built into the pads for adjusting stance width as well as four settings to control duck stance. Testers gave the Legacy high marks for its extremely smooth feel in the water and excellent chop handling ability. The Legacy earned high marks for its load and pop and great upwind ability, particularly for the larger board in lighter wind. Testers found the Fusion pads to be comfortable with medium density footbeds with ample texture under the toes for grip. (Our testers rode the Legacy with last year’s lace-up straps, but most 2015 LF boards comes with a single Velcro adjustment strap that wasn’t available for testing.) Testers commented on the straps as easily adjusted via lace-ups and liked the flexible nature of the strap which conforms to the top of their feet.
