Defending champion Ross Dillon from Cape Town will be challenged by Durban’s Joshua Emmanuel current holder of the WOO World Record for highest jump.

This events all about fun and welcomes all members of the kiteboarding community, whatever their skill level. Airtime Witsand is spectator friendly, with plenty of space to enjoy the action. Throughout the weekend, all guests and riders are invited to participate in events including the LBRC Witsand Beach Cleanup, Artie Louw’s lecture on sharks, and Saturday’s NSRI Spit Braai followed by a party featuring guest Goodvibe Dub Foundation.

Besides kiting, Witsand is well known for competitive fishing and kayaking and is a stop on the Cape Aghulas motorboat race. For kiteboarders, this spot offers world class conditions, bringing riders from around the world to shred the flatwater lagoon in the river mouth.
