Mark your calendars for the 35th Annual WISSAs World Championships beingheld at Fond du Lac, WisconsinFebruary 9 – 14, 2015!

The Winnebago Association of Kiteboarders (WAK), Wind PowerWindsurfing and Kiting Center Fond du Lac Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is this years hostwill welcome athletes from around the world to compete in three classes – Sled, Kite and Wings. Within these divisions they can enter in one and three day wind & snowkite races and the “Big Air” competition.

The event site will be along the shores of Lake Winnebago, one of largest lakes in the US and is the perfect destination for this race series. With the ideal blend of ice and snow conditions for daytime races in addition to affordable restaurants, shops, bars for evening activities the community stands ready to welcome competitors!

During the day thrilling races will take place on the ice and our sponsors will have theirbooths open to demonstrate equipment and sell food and refreshments, said to DanDeuster, WAK President. According to Deuster, Fond du Lacs historic Retlaw PlazaHotel was selected as the Host Hotel and has created some very attractive packagesfor the event.
